You must take into account that if the subject is a third person singular: He, She, It or a singular noun, you must add -s. -es or -ies to the base form.

- It adds -ies when the verb ends in consonant + y: CRY --> He cries; STUDY --> She studies

- It adds -es when the verb ends in one of the following letters: -s.- z, -sh, -ch, -x, -o: GO --> He goes, WATCH --> She watches

- In the rest of the verbs the third person is formed by adding -s: GIVE--> She gives, PLAY --> He plays
